Mr. And Mrs. W.W. Canine were notified on Monday of the critical illness of J.C. Stevens and went to Williamsport, on Tuesday, on that account. He died on Monday evening. Mrs. Stevens was Miss Vera McCormick, daughter of the late J. O. McCormick.
